Message-ID: <20060707190107.021F2FB4031@genesis.frugalware.org> Welcome to the brand new Frugalware homepage! This is a complete rewrite of our homepage, featuring table-less design, XML for data storage, user-friendly URLs with mod_rewrite and easy translations with Gettext. If you would like to help translate the page, please post to the frugalware-devel mailing list. If you find any bugs while using the page, please report them to the Bug Tracker under the Homepage category, or visit our IRC channel and report them to AlexExtreme or IroNiQ. Also, feel free to give them your comments on the page too. So now we can work on adding a few improvements. I've just written a kind of robot that automatically posts all news posts from the site to the Frugalware-announce mailing list. It works thanks to darcs post-hooks, so that whenever we push a change to the homepage darcs repository, the post-hook is run to check for new news posts. Don't forget, if you do find a bug remember to post it on our Bug Tracker. So please bear with us while we do this. The result at the end of this should be a faster and nicer Gnome. I will post here once we have finished upgrading, at which point it will be good to start posting bug reports about problems that you find. To do this, you can use our[1]Bug Tracker. There are currently several known issues that we will try to fix soon. These are as follows * Gaim gets SIGABRT when trying to add an account. * Banshee Segmentation Faults at startup * File-roller segmentation faults at startup References 1. http://bugs.frugalware.org From noreply at frugalware.org Mon Jul 31 09:55:01 2006 From: noreply at frugalware.org (VMiklos) Date: Mon Jul 31 09:55:04 2006 Subject: [Frugalware-announce] Frugalware 0.5pre2 (Siwenna) released Message-ID: <20060731075501.4477CFB43D9@genesis.frugalware.org> The Frugalware Developer Team is pleased to [1] announce the immediate availability of Frugalware 0.5pre2, the second technical preview of the upcoming 0.5 stable release.
