	voting is open

Voting is open on Devil505's [1] blog for the default
      Frugalware 1.3 (Haven) wallpaper.  A total of 22 fantastic submissions
      were received and it's now up toyouto vote for your
      favourite.  The chosen wallpaper will not only be the default wallpaper
      but also used as the basis for other themes, including GDM/KDM/SLiM
      themes.  Voting closes at midnight on 17 July 2010 (French local time), so
      please do vote because it's a great opportunity to influence the look and
      feel of Frugalware.

The Frugalware Developer Team is pleased to [1] announce the immediate availability of Frugalware 1.3rc1, the first candidate of the
upcoming 1.3 stable release.Here are some of the major improvements and changes since 1.3pre2:

  * Improvements:
	   + X.org now uses udev to detect your hardware automatically, /etc/X11/xorg.conf is
	     no longer generated by default.
	   + Started integrating the Haven artwork.

  * Package updates:
	   + Linux 2.6.34.1
	   + GNOME 2.30.2
	   + KDE SC 4.4.5
	   + Mozilla Firefox 3.6.6
	   + Updated libraries: openssl-1.0.0, libburn-0.8, exiv2-0.20, ffmpeg-0.6.
	   + 429 package updates
	   + 46 new packages
