I OKed it's removal, and it removed the openntpd package OK, but didn't remove the rc.d runlevel startup or shutdown scripts, so I had to manually edit out the the lines in several places. The ntp package is working just fine, BTW. I doesn't have the problems connecting to the time servers openntpd had. On my Laptop eth0 is found as wireless device. I don't want to install via wireless (too slow, too fussy to install in the installation process, etc). I want to use my lancard but have no choice to select it. So I can't install frugalware via the network install cd. In this pre2 installation the mirror ftp://ftp5.frugalware.org ... was correctly shown and there were no error messages in the process of the pre2 installation.
