At build time there was some warnings which i paste to here. Need to be reviewed after 0.5. Dunno what cause that. (builded in chroot) WARNING: failed to install schema `/schemas/desktop/gnome/volume_manager/percent_used' locale `sr': Unable to store a value at key '/schemas/desktop/gnome/volume_manager/percent_used', as the configuration server has no writable databases. There are some common causes of this problem: 1) your configuration path file /etc/gconf/2/path doesn't contain any databases or wasn't found 2) somehow we mistakenly created two gconfd processes 3) your operating system is misconfigured so NFS file locking doesn't work in your home directory or 4) your NFS client machine crashed and didn't properly notify the server on reboot that file locks should be dropped. If you have two gconfd processes (or had two at the time the second was launched), logging out, killing all copies of gconfd, and logging back in may help. If you have stale locks, remove ~/.gconf*/*lock. Perhaps the problem is that you attempted to use GConf from two machines at once, and ORBit still has its default configuration that prevents remote CORBA connections - put "ORBIIOPIPv4=1" in /etc/orbitrc. As always, check the user.* syslog for details on problems gconfd encountered. There can only be one gconfd per home directory, and it must own a lockfile in ~/.gconfd and also lockfiles in individual storage locations such as ~/.gconf More information can be found at the following URL: http://bugs.frugalware.org/task/1114 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system. If the user selects "Static IP" configuration, then, netconfig goes well till it finishes the static ip configuration. But, then, it automatically starts "DSL" configuration which causes problems with the configuration files and may result in network config problems. This, in my case, also led to "No categories" displayed while installation problem. These can be piped to a file and downloaded at a later time, using a program like wget. Today I wanted to upgrade a machine, which hasn't been upgraded a while. When pacman didn't exit after 1 min, I had a look at the file which I piped pacman's output to, and I noticed I had to answer some questions (like foo replaces bar, etc.). I think those kind of questions should print on pacman's stderr instead of stdout; stdout should contain only the messages (eg. URI's) which are part of normal operation. So in 'dbus-0.62-2' we have "/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.2" and in 'dbus-0.93-1' we have "/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.3" but not "/usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.2" that is needed by firestarter. I have made a "pacman -S firestarter" to see if it will check the good dependency for 'dbus' but it didn't see the need of 'dbus-0.62-2'. My **dirty patch** was to add the /usr/lib/libdbus-1.so.2" on my system and it works.
