When you have an orphan package, that you don't want to be an orphan anymore, the pacman -S command doesn't remove the orphan status to the package. Maybe first before asking if we want to reinstall we should hask if we want to remove the orphan attribute. In addition maybe we should propose to add the orphan attribute when trying to remove a package which are required by other packages. That way we should be able to manages the orphan attribute completely. (Details: serial 92445 error_code 3 request_code 39 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) But every time there is a kernel patch or upgrade, I have to recompile (reinstall) VMWare, which is a big pain. Further, sometimes the new kernel makes compiling the VMWare modules not work. If you can add the modules so that those of us with VMWare WS could "just work", it would be a big benefit. Thanks! Detection of malicious/anomalous traffic is done by rules based in signatures, and the user can add more rules. Since it doesn't make use of the operating system's TCP/IP stack, it can be "invisible" to network access and attackers. HLBR can use regular expressions to detect intrusion attempts, virus, worms, and phishing. If this directory is missing or empty the "Unsupported hardware" watermark appears on the right down corner of my display. So I've checked the fglrx and fglrx_module fw packages and /etc/ati directory is missing from them indeed. I've downloaded the ati installer from the website and extracted it (--extract). The required files are in common/etc/ati. After copying the files to /etc/ati the watermark disappeared.
