Every word in the current document - an HTML file - is then underlined with a red, squiggly line. Thinking the dictionary isn't selected I then find the option "Tools > Language" (again, I'm going by my memory). A dialog box opens, with a list and a few buttons. The list itself is empty. I guess this is supposed to contain one or more languages. I have no idea what to do now. I've read lots of web sites about the various gedit plugins and none of them mention any configuration of the Spell Check tool/plugin. I don't remember exactly but approximately a month later it worked perfectly. I could pair my notebook with my mobile, synchronize with kmobiletools etc. After plugging the dongle into the usb socket I see in the /var/log/syslog the following: Dec 19 11:03:45 leonard kernel: btusb_intr_complete: hci0 urb f5de5080 failed to resubmit (19) Dec 19 11:03:45 leonard kernel: btusb_send_frame: hci0 urb f5de5080 submission failed So the problem is with adapter initialization. I looked up on the web and found that upgrading to the latest bluez may solve the problem. The latest bluez is 4.22 (http://www.bluez.org/), Frugalware Current contains 3.36. It is suggested to add a -Qtt (or another option trigger) that test more the database more deeply and find such problems. The proposed solution is that we add a new -Q extra option that check the file presence (file permissions ?) when used once, check the integrity of the file when used more than once. While the second part of the problem is not doable currently, the first part (checking file presence) should be all-ready easily doable.
