It should solve problem with dependencies. Then simply move to /var/cache/pacman-g2/pkg and make pacman -Ad *.fpm. Works for me. I have searched these forms, and the OO.org forums and tried everything from deleting my home/.OpenOffice folder to removing and reinstalling dictionaries from the extension manager. MY OO install indicates that every thing is okay - paragraph, select and all text is all marked as Enlgish (US) but still no go. Can you try if the problem is still there if you disable hw acceleration?
